Expansion of the Urban Development Concept

At the initiative of the town of Pec pod Sněžkou, an expansion of the urban development concept was prepared with the aim of revitalizing the existing center of Velká Úpa. The town was responding to the long-standing need to cultivate public space, strengthen local infrastructure, and restore life and a clear identity to this part of the municipality. The expanded urban concept set out directions for developing the area in harmony with the landscape, local tradition, and the needs of residents and visitors. It also became the basic framework into which the Rezidence Pod Portáškami project was subsequently placed.
